With the great snowfall that we got on Cookie Day, on Sunday morning I sent Phil off to the hardware store up the street to find a small sled for A. I wasn't sure how she'd do with it but luckily even though we got a great deal of snow it wasn't extremely cold outside so I figured it was the perfect opportunity to get her out in the snow for the first time especially considering there were warmer temperatures and rain in the near forecast and it would all be gone.
Phil could only find a saucer sled so he rigged it up with a rope so he could pull her. We all went out into the snow and more than anything the dogs had a blast running around and chasing after each other in the snow. They absolutely love it and wanted to go in and out and in and out all day just to run around in the snow. I love it when they would come back to the door to come in and have little white beards from stuffing their face down in it.
Audrey did pretty well considering, we only had her out there for a few minutes because the sled didn't move too well and she couldn't really hold on to anything and enjoy it. I know she'll love it as she gets bigger because even though she fell over she didn't cry or seem to bothered by the cold, wet snow!
Such sweet moments that she had with her Daddy in the snow. I love the last few photos of them together. She is so happy when she's with him no matter if it's after she's just feel off a sled for the first time :) I look forward to when she's a little bigger and can make snow angels and snowmen with her Daddy.
