Last Day of Vacation

Well that time has come that everyone dreads...the last day of vacation :( We spent our last day here at WDW at Epcot and it was a great day. We got there pretty early and started by going to the Seas with Nemo and Friends followed by one of my favorites, Journey into the Imagination with Figment. It's kind of fun to think about some of the different attractions at Epcot and think about how much they've changed in the 30 years it's been open which is most of my life and how different some of the lands are since I was a kid yet still very similar and classic.
After going on these two great attractions, my Dad and I went through the single rider line at Test Track which has been newly refurbished since the last time we've been here. I have to say I prefer the classic, original Test Track. I can definitely see where they are going and what they are trying to do but I'm just partial to the original but it's still a great attraction.

After Test Track, we made our way into the World Showcase to the Germany Pavilion for lunch at the Biergarten Restaurant which was a first for all of us. This had to definitely be the highlight of Phil's day as it was an all out German food buffet complete with a flight of German beers. It was so good they could have rolled all of us out of there! Once we were severely stuffed we made our way back to Future World and to use our Fastpass for a newer attraction called Soarin. It's a super neat attraction that takes you over this screen to make you feel like you are flying over all these amazing things in California, like the Golden Gate Bridge, Mountains, Desert, and the Ocean complete with a nice breeze and even the smells! It was definitely the highlight of my day.

Later this afternoon we did Audrey's favorite....went swimming! She is just so happy in any pool even when to me the water was pretty chilly at first. She just didn't care and was happy as a clam!!

All in all, it's been a great trip and we've all had a great time. I'm just so impressed with how  well Audrey did with everything considering she is so out of her element and routine in so many ways. I am looking forward to being back home tomorrow and trying to get back into our routine. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get back into it :)
